25th Hellenic Professionals Gala
Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday, November 6th, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at the Ontario Bar Association, located at 20 Toronto Street, Toronto, Ontario.

The AGM will include dinner, a CPD presentation by member Kostas Renieris on Understanding and Navigating Capacity Issues in Legal Practice (accreditation pending) and our formal meeting agenda  – including elections*. Stay tuned for agenda and details.

This year (2025) is the 35th anniversary year for the HCLA! We encourage all members to attend our AGM to celebrate this incredible landmark with us and take this opportunity to reconnect with fellow HCLA members.

The HCLA is proud to host a long-overdue meet-up for members and prospective members in Ottawa on Friday, September 26, 2025, at SPIN Kitchen & Bar. We look forward to catching up with friends and colleagues, old and new! Join us for a drink, snacks, and great company! 
 
This event is free for members, $20 for lawyer non-members and $10 for student non-members.

2025 Summer Kick-Off with the Hellenic Canadian Board of Trade

The Hellenic Canadian Lawyers’ Association is hosting the third annual Hellenic Women’s Networking Luncheon on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the Centennial College Event Centre in Toronto, Ontario.

This unique event seeks to bring together women of Hellenic heritage across all professions and at all stages of their career and/or education, to build their network and make lasting connections! Make new connections and renew friendships at this one-of-a-kind event.

This event will feature a presentation by the incredible Maria Mitousis. Hear about Maria’s story, and her inspiring legal career, and philanthropy. This program contains 45 minutes of Professionalism content (accredited by the Law Society of Ontario).

HCLA Winnipeg Meet-Up

We are pleased to welcome all members to our New Year’s Cheer event, which is taking place on Friday, January 24, 2025! Following tradition, this event will be held at La Birroteca, in the lower level of Eataly Toronto, located in the Manulife Building at 55 Bloor St West (Bay Street and Bloor) from 6:30 pm-9:00 pm.


Eataly is accessible by TTC from both Bay Station and Bloor-Yonge Station. Parking is also available within the Manulife Building.

The HCLA will provide appetizers, vasilopita, and one (1) drink for each guest.

New Year Cheer 20252024 HCLA Board Vision Meeting, Thank You Dinner

On Saturday, February 22, 2025 for the 24th Hellenic Professionals’ Gala, brought to you by the Hellenic Canadian Lawyers’ Association, the Asclepius Dental Society, and the Hippocrates Hellenic Canadian Medical Association, was held at the Liberty Grant Entertainment Complext. We enjoyed a night of fantastic night of dancing, food, culture, and raising money to support scholarships for Canadian law, dental, and medical students of Hellenic descent.
